Kandy
Serene Garden
Early morning is the best time to make the ascent of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, truly one of the Wonders Of The Ancient World. There are fabulous views from the top if you can overcome your vertigo! Travel onwards to the magical town of Kandy, surrounded by mist laden hills and the Temple Of The Buddha’s Tooth.
Day 05

The journey by Train Through The Hill Country is one of the Great Railway Journeys Of The World, passing cascading waterfalls, Alpine forests and tea estates at 6000 ft above sea level.
