Just a quick note to thank you and all the team at Elephant Island for a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka. Our tour was excellent as was our driver/guide. The hotels were fantastic and were very high standard, and we were looked after very well.

  

The whole holiday and tour arrangements were perfect without fault and we wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Elephant Island again.

Hello Tony,

What can we say about our holiday to Sri Lanka except that it was exactly as printed on the tin! All went as stated in your itinerary perfectly and we had a great time, our comments are as follows.

First our thanks must go to our driver/guide Roy an excellent ambassador for Elephant Island.

Our comments on the various hotels, we are unable to give a value for money against each hotel as we do not know the cost we paid for each individual hotel.

The Plantation Hotel, Kithulgala
All we can say is what a difference to the Blue Magpie like chalk and cheese, this is an excellent hotel with views of the river and excellent food, I had the mixed grill to be recommended

Ambiante, Ella.
Just look at the view, you are on the top of the hill looking down a long valley with the water fall on your right just perfect and you can see all this with out even getting out of bed, but when seated on the balcony with a cold beer the view is just fantastic, would stay here again.

Priyankara, Yala
Another excellent hotel over looking the paddy fields, we would stay here again.

Paradise Beach Club, Mirissa.
We choice this hotel because we had visited last year for a comfort break for an hour, we were given the room we asked for in fact we were offered the choice of 2 rooms, A great hotel right on the beach, and a real bonus no beach touts, we would stay here again.

We would like to thank you and all of your staff who arranged this memorable holiday for us you all did an excellent job, especially Roy our driver, we have recommended your company to friends and will continue to tell other people in the future about the excellent holiday we had with your company.

Hey Tony,

Well this is me coming back down to earth after a truly amazing trip. It really was a holiday of a lifetime. We just loved Sri Lanka. Our itinerary was perfect, really well worked out, well done. Someone asked me my highlight, but to be honest, I don’t have one particular favorite, it all was amazing.

Loved the first couple of days at the Mudhouse, so loved that place. Adams Peak was really something, totally different from what I expected; phew that was a lot of steps! And those folk skipping up barefoot! Wow.

Adored the beach cabanas, probably preferred to the Fortress but did enjoy the gorgeous design and luxury of the Fortress.

Could go on and on but 101 things to catch up on back in the real world!

Thanks Elephant Island and def star saving for next year, fancy Vietnam and Cambodia, you go there?

Now we are settled back into this cold place and back to our mundane jobs, I should just like to write and thank you for all your help in booking and arranging our recent holiday to Sri Lanka - we had an absolutely Fantastic time.
